Our story began in 2015 thanks to some successful matchmaking by Jennie’s sister and Danny’s mom. What started as a simple setup quickly turned into something much more, and the rest is history. Over the past ten years, we’ve grown up together, cheering each other on through every chapter — even making it work when Danny went away for college. Distance didn’t stand a chance. At the end of 2023, we checked off a major life milestone and bought our first home together (and quickly learned how many trips to Home Depot that involves). On February 1, 2025, Danny pulled off the ultimate surprise proposal at the very place where it all began. Although the original TGI Fridays had closed, a new restaurant was opening in its place. Danny created a fake “grand opening” menu and placed it outside — when Jennie jumped out of the car to grab one, she turned around to find Danny down on one knee. Now we’re getting ready to trade our favorite date nights for a lifetime of them, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!
