FAQs

The Wedding Website of Danny Guerrero and Jaime Burciaga
Perhaps this will be your first time visiting Vallarta and/or Nayarit, or you are a seasoned traveler, we want to make sure you are comfortable and knowledgeable about how and where to make your travel arrangements. Feel free to call us or text us anytime, if you don't find what you need on this page. Besides, once the planning is out of the way, it's time for us to have FUN! See you there...
Question

What day should we fly into Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR)?

Answer

We understand work and commitments are an important consideration, so arrange what works best for your schedule! There are three options: 1. Arrive Wednesday, May 2nd into PVR and overnight there 2 nights. This will allow you to enjoy the optional cruise the following day, or relax/experience Vallarta. 2. Arrive Thursday or Friday, May 3rd or 4th into PVR and head straight to the Sayulita/San Pancho area. We have listed some options for transportation and hotels/rentals here. Be mindful that our Welcome Cocktail begins at 7PM on Friday, May 4th and that the travel time from PVR airport to this area is around 1 hour. 3. Arrive on Saturday, May 5th, just in time for our evening wedding. Sorry you'll miss out on the other fun! :-(

Question

Do I need a VISA to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Not at all for U.S. and Canadian citizens, all you need is a valid passport. Make sure it's not expiring within 6 months of travel. (And don't forget it at home).

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are so many options in Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit region (Sayulita, San Pancho, Punta Mita). See our Travel page for more details.

Question

Are children/teens allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately we have decided to keep our wedding day activities an adults-only affair. However, with so much to see and do, I am sure the destination lends itself to a nice family vacation. We are able to recommend nanny services if needed.

Question

How to we get from place to place?

Answer

Between Uber and private transfer companies, there is no shortage of affordable transfer options. Visit our Travel page for more information. We will likely arrange some group travel and transfers as the date nears, so stay tuned to your email for more info!

Question

What's the dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

We are so inspired by the color and beauty of coastal Mexico, small towns and the majestic nature of our venue. We recommend light, breathable fabrics and a style that best embodies a "coastal elegance" vibe.

Question

What's the weather like in May?

Answer

May is one of the driest months in this part of Mexico. With little rain and moisture, we can expect a temperature of between 70 and 80 degrees!

Question

What are you guys up to after the wedding?

Answer

Great question. Besides nursing a hang over, we'll be heading to our most favorite place to relax and enjoy some beer, ceviche and a spectacular private beach - Casitas Maraika. We'll likely spend our final night here before heading home. The club can accommodate up to 26 people, so let us know if you are interested. For more info head over to our 'Things To Do' page for more info.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love to accommodate everyone this is not possible. We want to keep our guests to our l close friends and family. The invitation will be addressed to the person/people invited only. No uninvited guests please.

For all the days along the way
