We will be holding a Pōwhiri for our Manuhiri (vistors) If you are not from or havent set foot on this Marae before you are expected to be at this service in order to be present at this wedding as this is mandatory. Time of this event may differ so please make sure to recheck this closer to the date. Thank you for your understanding.
10:45 am - 11:15 am
This will be held outside the church on the marae. There will be a few light bites in addition to drinks before the ceremony. Mix and mingle among each other and be seated at 11:15am for the ceremony to take place. We can't wait to see you!
11:30 am - 12:30 pm
The ceremony will begin at 11:30am. Guests will be seated 15 minutes prior to ensure everyone is ready for the ceremony to begin
12:30 pm - 1:45 pm
After the ceremony takes place the couple will step away to take photos, during this time guests are more than welcome to engage in activities we have set up around the venue, socialise and find their tables and seat themselves
1:45 pm - 4:45 pm
After the ceremony we will be moving to reception in the Wharekai. At the reception we will be having some kai, the newlyweds will cut the cake and there will be a few speeches.
5:45 pm - 10:00 pm
Get ready to party! kick off your shoes and have a good time with good vibes!! After the reception everyone who is attending the after party can make their way down to the halcombe hall guests will be able to go inside at 5:45pm. the newlyweds and bridal party will enter at 6pm. At the after party there will be more Kai and some drinks available. You are more than welcome to bring your own drinks. The first dance and other dances will be held here as well as the reception doesn't have enough room.
