Our New Date is August 7th, 2021

We hope you are safe and well! We both love adventure so we got on some wheels and made it up one of our favorite mountain tops in Colorado, the place where we had our first date, the place we got engaged & now this is the place we got MARRIED!!! 💍 A subalpine forest surrounding the lake in a glacially carved valley, with the peaks of the Continental Divide looming to the west🏔 During these uncertain times this was a day much needed, a day of so much joy & hope. I’m so grateful to have married my best friend. This day was beyond what I could have ever imagined! A big THANK YOU to the most incredible crew for helping us capture this beautiful moment, we would not have been able to do this without y’all. To all our friends and family! We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you all one day, so stay tuned! Last but definitely not least to my husband, the biggest THANK YOU to you, for choosing to be my partner everyday. Our love story began back in September of 2017, in a quaint, intimate bar in Boulder. After the initial introduction, Hannah and Danny found themselves more and more drawn to each other. They spent hours talking, laughing, singing, and dancing late into the night. On their first official date, Danny took Hannah to Brainard Lake. A subalpine forest surrounds this lake in a glacially-carved valley, with the peaks of the Continental Divide looming to the west. This dreamy date was the beginning of our life together. After 2.5 years of memories as well as discovering a mutual love for IPAs, hiking and traveling, we can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!

On the anniversary weekend of our first official date, I took Hannah back to Brainard Lake. I suggested we write letters to each other to commemorate our anniversary. At the end of my letter, I wrote “look up,” and Hannah, already crying and a bit confused, found me on my knee with a ring in my hand. The joy I felt in that moment has been growing ever since as I realized that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and love. We can’t wait to have all the people we love gathered together to celebrate this next phase in our life. We are grateful to have the best support system assisting us and sending love from across the globe. Thank you all and we look forward to seeing you this summer!
