Our Story
It’s wild to think we met more than ten years ago on freshman move-in day (as next-door neighbors!) at UChicago. We remained close friends throughout college and started dating during our senior year, shortly after Danny returned from studying abroad for a year in Chile.
We got closer throughout the pandemic and took our first trip together to Austin, TX after we got our COVID-19 vaccines! Since then, we’ve loved traveling together, from Cubs Spring Training in Arizona to Midwest weekends exploring nature and breweries in Milwaukee, WI and Holland, MI.
We finally moved in together (with Charlie’s cat Mamacita!) in 2024, and we adopted Freddie, our first cat together, in 2025.
After more than five years together, Danny surprised Charlie in August 2025 by proposing to her on a sailboat in Door County, WI. Now, we look forward to celebrating our wedding together with you in Miami!
