Question

Will we be outside or inside?

Answer

Both! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place at Anthony’s Ocean View. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place on the beach. The cocktail hour will take place in a garden area that is located between the ceremony site and the reception room. The garden area is paved and has seating, fire pits, and light music. The reception will take place in one of the indoor ballrooms at the venue. Guests will have access to the beach, the garden, and reception room all night.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our priority is that all of our guests feel their best and are able to dress comfortably for the occasion, as we will be spending some of our time together outdoors in the hot summer sun and plan to dance all night long. That being said, in the event of inclement weather our venue will make adjustments to move the ceremony indoors, so our hair and makeup will be spared! To achieve this goal, we've listed our dress code as beach formal. What is beach formal? Think ~fancy resort wear~. And for those who think like the bride and want to know exactly what "beach formal" looks like rather than doing a deep dive on reddit... Ladies: Breathable materials, flowy midi or maxi dresses and jumpsuits, wedges, chunky heels or dressy sandals...or if you're really set on those cute stilettos you could even go barefoot for the ceremony and throw them on for cocktail hour and the reception, Caleigh might do the same ;) Men: If you're really feeling fancy suits are great, but sports jackets, blazers, and dress shirts are just as nice! Dress shoes, loafers, and boat shoes are also excellent choices. Ties are optional!
