Opened on June 18, 2017, Anthony and Monica had envisioned a new way of tasting and brought it to San Juan Bautista. With eighteen different beers on tap, and eighteen different varietals of both red and white wine, they offer a bright lively vibe to this historical town.
Mission San Juan Bautista was the largest mission church in California. It has been in continuous use since 1812. The mission is located beside the San Andreas Fault and was featured in Alfred Hitchcock's film Vertigo.
Since its inception, El Teatro Campesino and its founder and artistic director, Luis Valdez, have set the standard for Latino theatrical production in the United States. Founded in 1965 on the Delano Grape Strike picket lines of Cesar Chavez’s United Farmworkers Union, the company created and performed “actos” or short skits on flatbed trucks and in union halls.
The Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail is a 1,210-mile National Park Service unit. The trail route extends from Nogales on the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona, through the California desert and coastal areas in Southern California and the Central Coast region to San Francisco.
