Addressing the possibility of changes due to COVID-19
Answer
As our Wedding day approaches we will maintain communication with The Ponte Winery as we intend to stay as up-to-date and prepared as this uncertain time will allow. Rest assured we will keep you in the loop regarding any important changes. In the unfortunate event that we have to minimize the guest list, cancel, or postpone our special day, we will surely update each guest. Thank you for your understanding, support, and celebration through this process. For guests preparing to travel, we suggest that transportation and accommodations are booked in advance with hopes that large safety improvements takes place before the Big Day comes. We wish for a weekend that continues as imagined pre-COVID. However, as changes may arise due to county guidelines and safety consideration for guests, we want to emphasize that each individual should obtain thorough understanding of their accommodation’s cancellation or postponing policies.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
We have reserved a block of rooms at The Carter Estate Winery and Resort. Please call 844-361-9300 and book under the “Jernigan Wilson Room Block.” This resort is in very close proximity to the venue’s hotel (The Ponte Vineyard Inn) where the Bride and Groom as well as family will be staying. When it comes to Staying at Ponte with us, the more the merrier! We are emphasizing all traveling arrangements be made in advance as Ponte is a small resort with limited rooms available. We are fortunate that the area offers a handful of beautiful resorts to choose from - please see our “Travel” page for more information.

Phone Use: Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?
Answer
When it comes to our wedding, In hopes to fully embrace the present moment - we are encouraging guests to unplug for our ceremony. With the intentions to see your lovely faces (rather than phone screens) we request cellphones and other electronics be silenced and put away until the ceremony has ended. For the cocktail hour and reception, feel free to take personal photos... just don’t forget to use our hashtag #Wilsonsayido! However, please note that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the night while the photographer takes care of capturing the day on our/your behalf.
