Plot twist: we’re getting married.

Danny and Dinah’s story technically starts in high school. Danny had a crush on Dinah back then… while Dinah was busy dating his best friend. Timing is everything. Life went on, years passed, and the two barely kept in touch. Fast forward about 15 years when Danny found Dinah on Snapchat and decided Christmas Eve 2023 was the perfect time to shoot his shot. After a week or two of persistent messages (and Dinah enjoying the attention just a little), she finally agreed to meet up for drinks to catch up and reminisce about the good old high school days. Somewhere between the stories, the laughs, and a few shared memories, something clicked. What started as catching up slowly turned into something much more. At the time, Danny lived in O’Fallon and Dinah swore she’d always be a city girl. Naturally, life had other plans. Today they live together in St. Louis with Danny’s daughter Claudia and their two extremely spoiled cats, Otis and Gracie, who run the household. Danny may be a bit of a nerd (Dinah’s words, not his), but he’s kind, thoughtful, and endlessly supportive. Together they bond over Pokémon, gaming, music, and adventures around the city. Danny loves Dinah’s wit, her love for their cats, and the fact that she introduced him to some truly elite trap music. Dinah loves Danny’s big heart, his intelligence, and the way he always makes her laugh… though she still insists she’s the funnier one. What started as a high school crush turned into a second chance years later, and now they’re building a life together surrounded by family, laughter, and just a little bit of nerdiness.
