Once upon a time, there was a small computer shop called Geekoids where a nerdy quiet ginger worked. A girl with very vibrantly colored hair came in with her father on a quest to have their computer fixed. The father ended up having a long dialogue with the owner of the shop while the daughter fiddled with her flip phone whilst sitting on the dirty carpeted floor… for over a hour. The ginger looked at her puzzled and then it came time to go to lunch. He walked past her and asked her if she needed anything. She quietly said no but thank you. The ginger came back and the girl was still sitting on the floor waiting for her father to wrap up his conversation with the shop owner. Little did the ginger know, this wasn’t the last time they were going to meet. In a galaxy far far away, at a place called StarShmucks, there was a girl working a morning shift when she normally works nights. It was a nice quiet morning until some obnoxiously loud banana colored car pulled up to the drive thru speaker box. She was uncaffeinated and unfiltered, and rudely informed the patron to turn off his vehicle when ordering. While he was pulling around to collect his order, her coworkers told her she should be nice to this patron because he was a very nice person. So the patron and the barista glared at each other when he pulled up to the window. He had ordered a grande but got a venti instead, because her coworkers felt bad for him. Again, neither of them know this isn’t the last time they are going to meet. Only a few years later, he comes back to an old haunt. the barista yelled to someone in the back. Alyssa, there’s someone taller than you! The girl pokes her head out from the back and says, “oh yeah, look at that.” They made polite short talk, and after she went back to what she was doing in the back room. He asked her coworkers if she was single, her coworker informed him she was not and the ginger left again not knowing they would meet one more time. On the FaceSpace of the Internet, in the dating section, the barista stumbled upon someone very familiar and very cute. Lo and behold, it was a match! She sent a message and he sent one back. This continued on for some days. He asked for her number, gave her a call and on that call he asked for a date. She was sweet and kind and picked him up for the date. She even opened the door for him. They sat in the warmth of the car chatting about past jobs and past locations. Thats when things started to fall into place. They realized they’ve met before, and on multiple occasions. The memories flooded in and that’s when it hit them. He was the obnoxious banana car ginger and she was the mean barista and quiet girl sitting on the dirty floor at the computer shop. The next year, both went through more trials and tribulations than a couple should ever have to go through. It was a test of nerves and trust. Bad events kept coming up and the guy never left her side despite being given the option too. His words were always he loved her more than the fear of what was going on. He loved her very much and cared about her. She loved him right back and cared just as much. On January 13th they took a trip to multnomah falls. The weather was blustery and visibility was minuscule. They make it through the blizzard and make it to the falls. The guy asks her if she can see the falls behind the bridge and distracts her while he gets down on one knee on the snow covered ground. He pulls out a box and opens it and to her surprise it’s a ring! He asks her if she would marry him and be with him forever. She responded with, always and forever. Then she removed the ring from the box and put it on, petrified she was going to drop and lose it in the snow. Luckily she didn’t, and they made it back to the car and home safely. You are one of the lucky few who have been invited to witness their marriage on June 13th. Please bring her caffeine. Thank you!
