When should I RSVP by & what should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by October 12th. If you can not make it to the wedding, you will be missed; please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our evening. No jeans please.

Are the Ceremony and Reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Our special day is all located in one place - Artifact Events in Ravenswood, north side entrance. Check out "The Big Day" section on our website for the full address and evening schedule.

Where can we park for the Wedding?

Answer

There is plenty of free angled street parking at the venue located right outside the entrance on a non-high traffic area of Ravenswood.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30PM, please arrive 15 minutes early.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception floor where we will be hosting our cocktail hour with hors d'ouevres and drinks.

What will the weather be this time of year?

Answer

Chicago can be quite temperamental and very difficult to predict. The average temperature is around 50 degrees and can get quite chilly at night. There are no outdoor elements to our wedding aside from getting to and from; we recommend you check the weather the week before, day before and day of...Welcome to Chicago!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love our little ones - we totally do! However, due to many factors, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event with the exception of immediate family in our wedding party. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "date night" for yourself. We appreciate your understanding.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a wedding block at the Hyatt about 15 minutes from the venue. Please see "Travel & Accommodations" for the link and code. There are plenty of places to stay in Chicago, so feel free to stay where you are most comfortable.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #allengoespoof so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
