On the day before our one year anniversary, Adrian made me hike a mountain with him and one of his best friends (AKA his boyfriend). Once we made it to the top of the mountain, there was a beautiful waterfall (thus, it was worth it). Adrian made me hang out by the waterfall (for what felt like DAYS). Eventually, he made me awkwardly take a picture of Kevin alone by the mountain then Kevin volunteered to make a picture of us. After a few pictures, Adrian turned me towards him and grabbed my hands. He then started saying "Babe, you know I have social anxiety....", then pulled something out of his pocket. Almost immediately I blacked out (LOL). Eventually, I realized what was going on and started laughing because I couldn't stop thinking (what the heck is happening?!). If you know Adrian, he is not romantic, but this was the most romantic moment he's ever created. Finally, after laughing my nerves off, (and Adrian almost forgetting to get down on one knee) I said the easiest YES of my life. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
