Question

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate our wedding at The Carondelet House, a beautiful venue with a charming and romantic atmosphere. We fell in love with its unique character, and we think you will too! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at this single, lovely location: The Carondelet House 627 S Carondelet St, Los Angeles, CA 90057

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We kindly request that guests arrive by 4:30 PM to allow time to be seated and get settled. We'd hate for you to miss any part of the ceremony, so please note that arrivals after it begins will be asked to join us after at the cocktail hour.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family dressed up for the celebration! We're suggesting cocktail attire for the evening. For colors, we're envisioning a palette of warm, autumnal tones. Think deep reds, oranges, golds, browns, or even dark greens or blues. For women, this could be a mid or floor-length dress or a stylish pantsuit in these colors. For men, we kindly request black suits.

Next steps? When should we RSVP by?

Answer

For now, just save the date and celebrate with us in spirit! Formal invitations with RSVP details will be sent out in the spring/summer. We kindly ask that you RSVP by August 4, 2025. This is really important for our planning, as we need to give our vendors a final headcount.

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We'll miss you! Please let us know as soon as possible by RSVPing "Not Attending." If your plans change after you've already RSVP'd, please update your response or reach out to Danlei or Andy directly. We understand that things come up.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Your invitation will specify whether you have a plus one. If a guest is included, their name will be listed with yours. We're hoping for an intimate celebration with our closest friends and family.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We want everyone to be fully present during our ceremony, so we're having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you put away your phones and cameras during this special time. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like! We'd love to see your perspective of the day.

Are children invited?

Answer

With the exception of a few little ones in the immediate family, our wedding and reception will be an adults-only event. Invitations will clearly specify the names of any children who are invited. We hope you can enjoy a night off to celebrate with us!

Do you have a registry? Should we bring a gift of money?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift to us. However, for those who wish to contribute, we have set up a honeymoon fund, which can be found under the "Registry" tab above.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We want everyone to have a wonderful time, but please drink responsibly. If you plan on enjoying the open bar, please arrange for a safe ride home.

Will there be parking?

Answer

For your convenience, complimentary 24-hour self-parking is available in the adjacent lot, which has 25 spots. You'll find the lot at: 611 S Carondelet St. Los Angeles, CA 90057 Simply let the attendant know you're here for our wedding, and they'll point you in the right direction. We do encourage you to consider carpooling or using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, especially if you plan on drinking, as parking is limited. We want everyone to have a fun and safe celebration!
