The main airport for Kauai is Lihue Airport (LIH), located on the southeast coast near Lihue town, serving as the island's primary gateway flights from airlines Hawaiian, Alaska, Southwest, United, American, and Delta.
We recommend staying on the north side - much prettier and closer to us, however the south or east side of the island has much easier access to events and we have found the hotels are a bit cheaper. A list of suggested hotels is available on our website.
Yes! Renting a car is highly recommended, as Kauai is best explored by car and ride-share options are limited.
The ceremony will be taking place on the beach in Hanalei Bay with a reception to follow at Postcards Cafe.
We’ll be hosting a relaxed wedding weekend, including the ceremony and reception, with optional casual gatherings. A full schedule will be posted as we get closer.
Casual island attire. Think sundresses, linen, aloha shirts, sandals, or dressy flats. Jackets and ties are not required.
The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside.
