Player One
Visit the scene of the crime, aka. the barcade where we first met! Clearly we had a great time playing games, shooting hoops, tossing air hockey pucks in the air - you will have a blast too!
Universal Studios Hollywood
This was our first amusement park date - Danit was still in rehab from knee surgery. Glen was a champ at walking slow. They had a BLAST!
The Baked Potato
They have wonderful local jazz, funk, and eclectic artists in this tiny hole in the wall. We've very much enjoyed the artists who perform here - expect the unexpected!
Balboa Park Pavilion 1
Our first official date was a picnic under shady trees at this local park. It's family friendly, but has some rather aggressive swans (so don't get too close or they will absolutely chase you! We've tried!). They also have bicycle surreys for rent. It's a low-key, local park. Nothing fancy. Just locals enjoying a lake, ducks, and a local park.
Salt & Straw
We LOVE ice cream! This place has incredibly unique flavors that change seasonally and according to holiday themes! A must eat!
McConnell's Fine Ice Creams - Studio City
Another amazing ice cream place! It's right around the corner from where we live and we love walking over and trying out the new flavors. It's also on a sweet street with other fun cafes and shops. A cute place to check out for window shopping!
Bacari Sherman Oaks
This is Glen's favorite restaurant and was where he took Danit out on our first dinner date - the food is DIVINE! They have two other locations - they're all delicious - check it out!
Disneyland Park
It'll be a shlep, but for folks taking a week trip here, it's worth it! This was our second amusement park to explore together and we ate and drank and rode games until we shut the park down :)
