We started talking online and found out we had a lot in common. After about a month, we planned to meet in person. We met at a bowling alley with some of my cousins. We all went to Sonic and talked for a while getting to know each other well. We went to church together the next day, and after we got home we talked some more. Later he invited me to come meet his family. I went there for the weekend and that Saturday he asked if I would be his girlfriend and of course I said yes. We would often meet each other on the weekends when we had off. We enjoyed hiking up Stone Mountain, going on ice cream dates, and travelling. One trip we went on, we went to Florida with his family. When we were there he took me to the beach and later to get boba. When we came back there was rose petals leading to the living room with tea light candles and balloons. On the counter it was written "Will you marry me? ". As we walked through the hall, "a thousand years" started playing and he proposed to me there. I said yes and his family was all there to celebrate with us. And that brings us to today when we plan on getting married. We are so happy to have met and grown closer to each other.
