We prefer cocktail attire. No ties required. No jeans (preferably). However, if these requirements means you won't show up, then we would rather have you there to enjoy our day in whatever you find comfortable. Note, this is an indoor outdoor wedding (weather permitting) with indoor, outdoor deck, and grassed areas. Please take that into account when choosing foot wear. This is also an April wedding the mountains, the weather can be unpredictable. We will try to have blankets available for those still needing extra warmth, however being prepared with outwear is advised.
YES! Your children can come with you to the wedding! We will be having flower girls and ring bearers that are ages 5-9 and welcome other children. We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to find sitters and want you to still be apart of our day. If you do decide to bring your children, we do ask you to be respectful during the ceremony. There will be activity books for the children during the reception as well as some outdoor games.
The venue in the mountains and off a dirt road and the parking is a tiny walk up a slight hill. Those with mobility issues can be dropped off closer to the entrance. Like a hotel, the lodge has a canopy that allows for driving under if guests need dropped off. Parking direction will be handled by the venue's owners and they will direct you into spaces. These spaces are grass covered and potentially overflow into a field.
While we have a registry, we enjoy your presence! Please do not feel obligated to bring a gift, a card, or money!
We know that this place is a drive for some of our guests. We also know that the roads to get to the venue are not simple highways. We are having the ceremony at 3pm to give people enough time to enjoy themselves at the wedding while also giving plenty of time to get home before it gets too dark. Please take your time and drive safe whenever you decide to arrive or leave.
