We first met back in 2008. We were both at family functions and just happened to catch one another’s eye. Austin was 15 and I was only 14 but there was just something about one another that we couldn’t resist! We kept purposely following each other, making sure we were doing something to get the other ones attention. If it wasn’t for Austin’s courage to ask “Hey can I get those digits?”, we would not be together today!

After our first date on Fourth of July, we both knew we needed one another. We were always texting and talking for hours on the phone. Austin came down for a visit or at least I thought it was just a visit. We walked to the parked and sat on a bench and talked. In that moment Austin asked me to become his girlfriend and there was no way I was going to pass that up!

After many years and two beautiful girls later the day finally came! I woke up this morning thinking we were just going to take family pictures, but boy was I surprised! In the middle of pictures for him and I, he got down on one knee. I can’t wait to have everything we’ve been talking about ever since we were young kids in love.
