We’re getting married!

Lisa and Kelly met in 2016 at their basic officer course as newly commissioned quartermaster lieutenants in Virginia. Their first interaction, Lisa entered the classroom fashionably almost late finding one of the last seats open next to Kelly. She quickly realized she misplaced her pens and unit patch looking to her neighbor for help. These two acts would foreshadow Kelly’s role in their relationship. The pair shared a natural connection and it continued throughout the course. After four months of friendship, they parted ways to embark on their next chapter. Kelly moved to Washington and Lisa moved to Colorado. In 2019, fate led them back to each other in South Korea. Lisa, unaware Kelly was now in Korea, bumped into him as she was exiting the gym. One year after reuniting, they decided to spend the rest of their lives together committing to whatever it takes. They have spent countless time apart for military training and on different occasions relocating to separate states. Four years after reuniting, they have three dogs, a house and are planning their wedding.
