Richard and I met in October 2011 at a Halloween Party I attended with friends from college. It was a pretty fun and amazing night meeting awesome new friends and of course my soon to be husband! After that, we talked on the internet almost everyday and decided to go on our first date a few weeks later. Our first date was at Fuddruckers, a burger place on the northshore. Richard and I made our relationship official and started dating in November 2011. We love to travel and try new things... we’ve been to Foxwoods twice to see our favorite comedians the Impractical Jokers in which one time we met them in person. We took our first big trip together in April 2017 to Florida where we spent time with Richards family. We vacation at his family’s cottage in NH from what it feels like every summer/fall since we’ve met. I could probably go on and on lol! In December 2017, Richard and I welcomed our baby boy Lucas Russell into the world and he changed our lives forever! We love him so much! On Lucas’ 1st birthday we threw him a birthday party with all our closest family and friends and little did I know Richard was going to make our family that much more official the same day. Right before singing Happy Birthday, Richard got down on one knee with the baby and proposed! I was shocked (and of course crying) but I did not suspect it at all! It made for a very special and memorable day! When choosing our wedding date Richard and I wanted a date that had meaning to us and our life together. Originally we chose October because we LOVE the fall and October was the month we met and our love story started. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to move our date to November 2021 which ultimately had even more meaning than we thought. November is the month we made our relationship official and in 2021 Richard and I will have spent 10 years together! We cannot wait to marry on our 10 year anniversary and we cannot wait to do it in front of our beloved family and friends!
