Our first date was at Sushi 101 by ASU's Tempe Campus. We had met online a couple of months prior, and spent many days and nights texting and messaging back and forth until we finally decided to go all in and finally go on a date. The conversation was easy and fun, and at the end of the night we immediately agreed that a second date was necessary. The rest is history!

After almost 10 years of fun and happiness together, Mike finally popped the question! We had decided to take a trip to Disneyland (Mike isn't a big fan of the Disney parks...but agreed to go just one time). I was beyond excited...anyone who knows me, knows that Disneyland is a very special place to me. Mike carried the ring around with him for two whole days at the park, but the timing didn't feel right throughout the days and the nerves kept kicking in. It wasn't until after our last day at the park, sitting on a rail by a planter waiting for our Lyft back to the hotel, that he got down on one knee! It was such a special and emotional moment, and now the Happiest Place on Earth is even more special!
