First, the wedding. Second, the vows.

We met during the first few weeks of the pandemic when everyone was quarantining, except for our two best friends. So naturally, we ended up meeting. I (Jess) was getting groceries out of my car with my friend, and Clay offered to help us carry our groceries up the two flights of stairs to our apartment. Not only was that charming, but in typical Hallmark fashion, he ended up being the guy across the hall. But, it was not love at first sight. We continued to be neighbors and see each other around. Then fast forward both of our birthday's passing, quarantining together because our friends were all becoming friends with each other, and then finally after all that, realizing this might actually be a thing. And the rest is history! Now we're a happy, blended family living in the south and it couldn't be better.
