Question

When should I book accommodation?

Answer

Please book as soon as possible, as there are limited hotel rooms in Stanley. You can secure an Airbnb early. Mountain Village Resort doesn't allow us to make a block, but opens their reservations for the year on Jan. 1. We recommend booking then.

What should I wear?

Answer

Wear what makes you feel your best! We'd love to see you all dressed up, but if something else makes you feel fabulous, wear that.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We'll update this as the time gets closer, but Stanley weather in May can be unpredictable. Stanley is in the mountains, so there could be rain, snow hail or lovely sunny weather.

May I bring a plus one?

Please contact us if your invite does not list a guest and you'd like to bring one. We may be able to accommodate them.

May I bring my children?

Answer

Yes! If young children become unruly during the ceremony, we ask that you take them outside.

May I take pictures?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony and leave your phone in your pocket or purse. Outside the chapel after the ceremony and during the reception are fair game though!

Is there parking?

Answer

Stanley: There is plenty of parking at the Meditation Chapel for the ceremony. There is less parking at the Outpost for the reception. Please carpool or walk from your hotel if possible. We'll update this with more information later. Hagerman: There is some parking at Billingsly Creek Lodge and a ton of parking at the boat launch area down across the highway. We can send people to pick you up if you park down there.
