Our story began nine years ago at Ithaca College. Zack and Danielle were both members of the business school's honor society, and were scheduled to volunteer at the local YMCA. Zack emailed the group for a ride to the event, but only two of the three volunteers responded (neither one being Danielle). In fact, the event was nearly canceled due to a typical Ithaca snowstorm. To this day, Danielle still claims she "never" received the email, but Zack strongly believes he was ignored. Inside the gymnasium, Danielle and Zack were paired together to lead a group of soccer players through a handful of drills. Danielle realized Zack had a great "first touch" and admired him smiling ear-to-ear as he taught young players the game he loved and grew up playing. After a day of many laughs and smiles with each other, Danielle saw a clear "path to goal", made the first move by offering Zack help in scheduling classes for next semester, and the rest was history!
