We are so excited to celebrate with you! Let the adventure begin!

We met during a hiking adventure I was in charge of running. Alex sat in the front seat of my car and was the only person to keep the conversation going. During the 6 hour trek, we kept gravitating towards each other, weaving in and out of conversation as we wove through the trees. The hike ended, but there were plenty more to come! Fast forward to today and we ae now getting married in the same mountain range where we first met

Moving to New York proved to be a challenge at first with the lack of accessibility to the mountains, however we quickly fell in love with Central Park! Every Saturday we have a ritual of taking Hercules to get coffee from the cute French owned coffee shop on our corner, grabbing our pastries and coffee and heading to the park. We loop around the park, sit on our favorite people watching bench to enjoy our croissants, and letting Herc run through the field in front of us oftentimes we end our walk (and coffee!) by going through the North Woods to let Herc enjoy the forest and soak in the nature ourselves! On one snowy Saturday morning, we started our ritual like every other Saturday, however it had just snowed about a foot and a half so of course Hercules was not too thrilled with our decision to forge on. We grabbed our coffee and set off, once getting to the park, Hercules was really not having the snow and cold and refused to walk in the snow resulting in us carrying him the whole time. Alex was holding Herc while I finished my croissant and asked me to hold him. I was completely clueless as to what would happen next! Alex got down in the snow and I assumed he was tying his shoe, he then pulled out the ring and through happy tears asked me to marry him!
