Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October 3rd. If we don't receive your RSVP by then, we will have to mark you as “not attending”, as we need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner and do not want to risk any hiccups in the planning process.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress. The wedding party will be wearing black but guests are also welcome to wear it.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather and temperature permitting). The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors with access to the outdoor garden throughout the night.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we have decided to limit our wedding to adults only, with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a special night sans kids!

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding venue? Will there be a shuttle? Will there be parking?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle to and from the designated hotel and our venue, both before and after the wedding. If you are staying at the hotel, we strongly recommend taking the shuttle, but there will be parking and valet available at the venue if you’d like to drive. Please visit our Travel Page for more details on the shuttle.

Question

What should I do if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know ASAP via text or email if you have any food allergies and dietary restrictions. We will work with the venue to accommodate to the best of our abilities. There will be lots of food options, but we want to make sure you are all set to enjoy our fabulous catering!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can begin to arrive at 3pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm and while we would hate for anyone to miss our special day, if you arrive later than that you unfortunately will not be able to attend the ceremony as you will not be able to get into the ceremony space. You will still be able to attend the cocktail hour and reception, but we want to minimize distractions. Thank you so much in advance for being on time and for understanding!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we will be having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly request for all phones and cameras to remain silenced and put away until the ceremony concludes to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer and cinematographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos/videos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony. But during cocktail hour and the reception, take as many photos and videos as you like!

Question

Where should I sit at the ceremony?

Answer

For the ceremony, please sit wherever you please. We know traditionally, the groom’s and bride’s families will sit on different sides of the aisle, but would love for everyone to intermingle together.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Sure do! #IvanSaidYesToTheDess Go ahead and use it on any and all social media posts so we can make sure we see all your content!
