Our wedding dress code is beach formal. This means elegant wedding attire suitable for a beach setting. For women, Lightweight fabrics, flowy dresses are encouraged. For men, button down shirts, slacks, sport coats are encouraged. Please choose footwear appropriate for sand. Shoes during the ceremony are optional.
Yes! Kill Devil Hills is a well-developed beach town with grocery stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping all within a few minutes of our venue and recommended accommodations.
October in the Outer Banks is typically mild and comfortable, with daytime temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Our beach ceremony will take place at 5:00 PM, and it may be breezy by the ocean. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening and choosing footwear appropriate for sand.
