Two single people who swiped right on hinge decided after a few words shared to meet up for drinks on a sunny evening. Our perfect spot was at Twist, so we could sit outside to enjoy the nice warm weather. We talked about our lives, our favorite things and the coconut butter lotion from Trader Joes. We both laughed and felt at ease with each other. We exchanged numbers and the rest is history.

Zak proposed during the Christmas Lights event at Botanical Gardens. Near the end of the display there is a section of lights that makes you feel like you're swimming under the sea. He queued our friends to suggest a photo with just the two of us, distracted me by randomly pointing off into the distance (he knew it was lame) and waited for me to turn and look. When I looked back to him he was down on one knee. It was very romantic.
