Question

Where is Cabo?

Answer

Los Cabos is a is a municipality located at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula, in the state of Baja California Sur. It encompasses the two towns of Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo linked by a 20mi Resort Corridor of beach-front properties and championship golf courses.

Question

How do I get to and from the airport?

Answer

The Bride & Groom recommend booking an airport shuttle service. Please see the "Travel" tab of this website for more details!

Question

Do I need to stay at Garza Blanca? Can I stay elsewhere?

Answer

While the Bride & Groom do encourage guests to book under their room block at Garza Blanca, they understand if you would like to stay elsewhere during your trip. Please note that Garza Blanca does not offer day passes to non-guests, meaning that if you are not a resident of Garza Blanca, you will not be able to enter the property at any time.

Question

How do we book our stay at Garza Blanca?

Answer

Please visit the "Travel" tab of this website for more information. The Bride & Groom's discount code is DAANDWEWEDDING. If you have further questions about booking at Garza Blanca please email danielleandweswedding@gmail.com

Question

How do I get inside Garza Blanca?

Answer

Only guests who are staying at Garza Blanca will be allowed onto the property. Upon arrival, your driver will check in with security where you will need to provide the name of your reservation. Once the security verifies your reservation, you can proceed onto the property.

Question

Are tips expected at Garza Blanca?

Answer

Tips are greatly appreciated at Garza Blanca for the service that they provide.. If you've booked your room under the All Inclusive Plan then gratuity is already included in your package, though you can certainly tip beyond that in person. We suggest having some smaller USD bills that can be used for tipping at the end of any service at Garza Blanca.

Question

How do I pay for food/drinks at Garza Blanca? Will I be charged in USD or Pesos?

Answer

Regardless of your room plan at Garza Blanca (ie All Inclusive or European Plan), you will receive a bill at the end of each meal or drink tab that must be signed. If you are on the All Inclusive Plan, you only need to sign the bill and provide your room number. Gratuity is already included in your All Inclusive Plan, though you may leave additional gratuity if you choose. If you are on the European Plan you will need to sign the bill and leave gratuity, and this bill will be charged to your room. All bills at Garza Blanca will be in Pesos. The current USD to Pesos exchange rate as of 7/17/22 is 20.5 Pesos for each 1 USD. To check the current exchange rate please visit https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=1&From=USD&To=MXN

Question

Do I need to exchange my US Dollars to Pesos?

Answer

You can use a currency exchange if you would like, but most services in Los Cabo will take US Dollars. The Bride & Groom encourage everyone to have some US Dollars on hand for tipping. Additionally, most services in Los Cabos will also accept credit or debit cards. Taxis are sometimes an exception to this, but for more information on taxis please see the next question.

Question

How do I get around town?

Answer

The Bride & Groom certainly encourage everyone to explore Los Cabos during their stay! If you choose to leave the Garza Blanca property, the staff at Garza Blanca will call you a taxi to get wherever you need to go. Before accepting the taxi, we encourage you to verify that the taxi accepts credit card (if that's how you are choosing to pay) and ask how much the ride will cost. If you venture to downtown San Jose del Cabo or downtown Cabo San Lucas, there are plenty of taxis in both areas to get you back to Garza Blanca. Again, verify the payment method and cost of the trip before accepting the ride. If you venture elsewhere in Los Cabos, please inquire with the staff at Garza Blanca about how to get back to the property before you leave it.

Question

Can I explore Los Cabos beyond Garza Blanca?

Answer

Absolutely! Please see the "Things To Do" tab of this website for more information. Garza Blanca can also coordinate various adventures. Please visit https://cabo.garzablancaresort.com/discover-los-cabos to see their offerings.

Question

What is Acre Baja?

Answer

The better question should be... what ISN'T Acre Baja? Acre is a restaurant, resort, animal sanctuary, organic farm, and more! The Bride & Groom don't want to share too many more details in hopes that you'll be as captivated by Acre's beauty and atmosphere as they are!

Question

Will there be transportation to the Wedding?

Answer

Yes, shuttle service will be provided to and from Acre on the night of the wedding. Please meet in the Garza Blanca lobby at 4:30pm for shuttle service to the wedding. Shuttles will leave promptly at 4:40pm. After the wedding, shuttles will leave Acre at 11:00pm and drop off back at Garza Blanca.

Question

I have a food allergy and/or dietary restriction. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Please let the Bride and Groom know of any allergies or dietary restrictions. Please email them at danielleandweswedding@gmail.com when you RSVP and they would more than happy to accommodate.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Danielle & Wes are so excited to vacation with their closest friends & family! They want everyone to look their best, but also dress appropriately for this warm and breezy paradise. The Welcome Dinner will be generously hosted on the beach by Wray & Julie Rives. They encourage "Beach Chic" attire. Think: something casual that you'd wear out to a nice dinner while on vacation. Lightweight and breezy fabrics. Dress shorts instead of dress pants. Shoes optional! For the Ceremony & Reception at Acre Baja, the Bride & Groom kindly ask for "Resort Cocktail" attire. Think standard cocktail attire, but a bit lighter to accommodate the warmer weather. If you're a dress-wearing guest, think breezy fabrics and lighter colors. If you're a suit-wearing guest, think linen or lighter fabrics with pants and a jacket. Ties not needed. Please also be aware that the ceremony will take place on grass.
