Danielle and Tyler's sister were Junior High best friends. Even though Danielle was four years older than Tyler, she was still his childhood crush. After not seeing each other for 10 years, on December 14th, 2017 Tyler and his mom walked into Danielle’s office. (Well in Tyler’s case hobbled, due to an injury and being on crutches) Standing in front of Danielle with the intention of asking her out, Tyler froze. He said goodbye and walked out. Tyler’s mom marched right back inside and asked Danielle to contact Tyler because he wanted to take her out on a date. After a couple days of non-stop texting conversations, Danielle agreed to have lunch with Tyler and they have been inseparable ever since.

Fast forward a year, Tyler decides Danielle is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with. He kindly asks Danielle’s mom, Cheryl permission to marry her daughter (knowing her dad, Jack was the deal breaker). After talking with Cheryl, Tyler does what every man fears, and asks Jack for his daughter’s hand in marriage. He says yes and a handshake ensues. Danielle’s bucket list entails many dreams, but one of them was to see the New Year’s Eve firework show in Las Vegas. A perfect opportunity for Tyler to pop the question. Details are sorted out, flights are paid for and (little does Danielle know) the engagement plan is in full swing. Tyler picks out the ring and hides it in a place nobody will ever find it. (Especially Danielle) New Year’s Eve arrives and the clock strikes midnight. Tyler and Danielle are standing on the rooftop of the Voodoo Lounge Nightclub, fireworks are exploding and the air is filled with excitement. Danielle goes in for a New Years kiss, while Tyler goes down on one knee and pops the question. After what seems like an eternity of tears, Danielle says yes and we seal the deal with the long awaited New Year’s kiss.
