Tony moved to North Carolina in 2019 to begin a new chapter in his life. Danielle made the move in 2020 with her two girls; Anabell and Cailynn. We had our first date or adventure at Kelly Park in Apex as we walked 5 miles on the Beaver Creek Greenway. Yes, this was Danielle’s idea! She loves to get out and walk. We walked and talked for a while. We learned new things about each other and what we liked and what we didn’t like. We talked about what we wanted in houses as we walked past the different neighborhoods. We learned what our goals were and what the future may or may not hold. As one thing lead to another, now it’s Tony’s 30th birthday and we had a date planned, well his dad and stepmom had plans as well to stop by. As time has a mind of its own, Danielle met Chris and Amy, Tony’s dad and stepmom. We celebrated and ate pizza and cake for Tony’s birthday. We did go out for drinks and more conversations afterwards. As Danielle was a single mom at the time, she did try to protect her girls, but with dating someone new in a new state. Tony met the girls as we had Pelicans Snow-cones. We talked and got to know one another. Cailynn is definitely a social butterfly and asking Tony all kinds of questions. Anabell on the other hand, she was stand off ish and observed him while we were about. When we got back home, Anabell asked “Mom, is that your Boyfriend?”. Well, this was the beginning of new beginnings of the four of us. Soon, four turned into five and Nico made his presence July 2021. He definitely looks like Tony, but takes after his mom. If you know you know. He is a wild 3 year old little boy that is full of life and takes after our best qualities. Life of a family of five looks like traveling to Florida or New York. When we’re not visiting home, we’re throwing the ball around. Either playing softball for Cailynn or Volleyball for Anabell, we’re always active as a family. Nico loves to go for walks to the playground to wears out some energy. Yes, he is definitely a boy and keeps us on our toes. When Tony and Danielle are able to sneak away, we like to go try a new restaurant or brewery. Food is definitely our love language, but haunts us in pounds LOL That’s where the constant walks come into play for life balance.
