In the Summer of 2017, Danielle was working as an ODU Orientation Leader and Tae-Seong was working as a Resident Assistant for ODU Housing. Tae-Seong was working at the housing table, and he instantly noticed Danielle when she walked into the student center. When Danielle noticed him, they made eye contact about 10 times! Tae-Seong was at the table talking to Nirlange, his former resident and Danielle's friend. Danielle knew that if she walked by, Nirlange would introduce her to Tae-Seong, and sure enough - she did! A few days later, Tae-Seong followed Danielle on Instagram, they became friends a few days later, and they have talked every day since!

It was our second anniversary, and we went back to the place we had our first kiss. We were reminiscing on when we first met and the growth we had experienced together. As we were getting ready to leave, Tae-Seong got on one knee, stuttered a little bit, and Danielle instantly said "YES!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
