We met at work.

D-Day finally arrived and the future Groom was nervous and courageous at the same time. As he drove his beautiful Bride to be to Prospect Mountain in the Lake George Region on a very beautiful September 1st day, he was reflecting on how lucky he was to have captured the love of his fair maiden. As they traversed the mountain path and clamored about the beautiful scenery, the Groom to be was planning his next move. They stopped at the last point where they could drive and journeyed by bus up the mountain pass to the summit. The future Groom skillfully moved the ring box from jean pocket to jacket pocket under the loving gaze of his future betrothed. They reached the summit and grasped the spectacular view. The future Groom lead his Damsel to an outlook of Lake George. There he decided that the moment of truth would be unveiled. As he felt the steel in his veins, the clarity in his heart and the all encompassing beauty of nature flow through him, he knew this was the path that he was destined to take. He looked at his beauty as she was enamored with the magnificent view. While reaching in his pocket to pull out the Ring of all Rings, he felt a large presence, a Great Wall forming behind him. As the Groom turned he and his stunning Bride to be were engulfed by a Chinese Tourist Group that was trying to take a group picture. The Groom to be was so stunned that his moment was interrupted but being so cool, calm and dapper, he grabbed his love and laughed off the situation like it was nothing. They walked a bit down from the original spot and right on cue the heavens opened up rays of sunshine on the area that would be perfect to ask his True Love for her hand in marriage. The spot was an even better view and away from would be intruders, as she looked at the view he reached in his pocket and said that he wanted one thing for his upcoming birthday. As she contemplated what outrageous request for a gift he would ask for, he went down on one knee and the rest is history!
