It all started during college football season! Robby was working at Parlay Social, and it wasn’t easy for Danielle being a Gator fan living in Lexington. Danielle and Robby instantly became friends as Danielle and Katie became regulars at Parlay throughout the football season. Robby moved to Texas shortly after they met, but it felt like nothing ever changed. In November of 2017, Danielle made her first trip to Dallas; they went to the Stockyards, Klyde Warren Park, and Joe T Garcia’s for margaritas and authentic tacos! That New Year’s Robby went back to Lexington, and they officially started their relationship and sealed it with a New Year’s kiss! Danielle and Robby were long-distance for the first year but made monthly trips to see each other, going to NOLA and Austin for weekend trips. In November of 2018, Danielle asked for a work transfer and moved to Dallas to be closer to Robby, and in January of 2019, they moved in together with their dogs, Lucy and Gamble. Fast forward three and a half years, and after Covid, it was time for a vacation. Danielle and Robby planned a trip to Southern California and Mexico! They spent three days in Southern California visiting with Robby’s Grandpa, Aunts, Cousins, and Uncle and seeing where Robby was born. On Saturday, August 14, 2021, they had lunch reservations in Ramirez Canyon near Malibu. After lunch, they all walked down to the pier overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean, and Robby dropped down to one knee and popped THE QUESTION! After laughing and crying, Danielle screamed YES, OF COURSE (two or three times)!! They spent the rest of the weekend celebrating in California, and then they were off to Mexico for their unplanned “Engagement Moon”!
