What about COVID?

Answer

We are still planning to move forward with our wedding as planned. We completely understand if you or a family member has a medical condition or you are just uncomfortable and cannot attend. We are fortunate that our venue has a lot of outside space and area to spread around in order to socially distance. If it rains, we will have tents. There will be hand sanitizer and mask stations available as well. Our venue ensures they are going to continue to implement all safety measures and feel confident that they can accommodate our wedding in October in a safe way.

What do I need to do before arriving?

Answer

We ask that you please take your temperature before coming and if you have any symptoms, please stay home. Masks are required at all times besides when eating. (Please keep in mind that the bridal party will not being wearing masks when walking down the aisle, during the ceremony or during the photography session). If you do not wear a mask besides when eating and drinking and are not in the wedding party during those two specified times, you will be asked to leave. Please socially distance and utilize the outside space. If you prefer to attend the ceremony and skip out on the reception, this is an option. Please let us know in advance. Help us make this a safe event!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our venue is a barn with no heat. Our wedding day may be hot, or it might be snowing. We are in Maine after all and the weather in October will be a toss up. Just know, there will be no heat or air conditioning depending on what the weather will be on our day.
