Both hotels where we have reservation blocks are great choices! The Nonantum Resort has the added convenience of being the location of the Welcome Party and Reception, so guests could run to their rooms quickly or leave the events at their convenience. Other hotels/rentals in the Kennebunk or Kennebunkport area are also highly recommended.
Due to guest numbers, the Welcome Party, Ceremony, and Reception will be child-free events. We are happy for your kids to join you at the hotels/resorts and can provide contacts or recommendations for babysitting during the events. Should your kids join you for the weekend, they are welcome to celebrate with us during the good-bye brunch.
Be aware, Ubers or public transportation is extremely limited. We will provide guests with trolley transportation to and from the Ceremony and After Party to assist.
For out of town guests, New England weather is always changing! Typically September in Maine means warm days with sun and crisp / cool nights. We would recommend packing layers and light jackets for the wedding events if you tend to get cold. Fingers crossed for good weather!
