It all started in Scottsdale, AZ. She was at a bachelorette party and he was at a water polo tournament (shocking!), and their two groups collided. Since she lived in New York and he lived in San Francisco, they didn't know if they would see each other again, but fate had its way and his work often had him in New York, so after some convincing and a good memory on his part, he took her on a date to her favorite burger spot in the city. That weekend, one date turned into two, then three and next thing you know they were singing karaoke at a small bar on the lower east side and planning trips with one another. It was Danielle's birthday weekend and one of her best friends was coming into town. Marin played coy all day and even pretended that he had forgotten that they were going to meet up with her friend that afternoon. As they arrived at the Palace of Fine Arts to meet, Danielle was so focused on finding her friend, she completely missed the photographer hiding behind the tree and her sister running to hide.
