The Black Hills is a great location for a mini vacay with the family. There is so much to do around the area. We have personally experienced several of these suggestions, and hope that you enjoy them as much as we did.

They have a restauraunt on the top of the Chairlift and it has an amazing view of Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills

This is a drive through animal reserve. Animals are free to roam, so getting out of the vehicle is not an option. Bears may be laying in the road or walking along side the vehicle as well as several other animal species.

Within Custer State Park there is an abundance of hiking trails and beautiful views. You can not visit Custer without hiking around Sylvan Lake.
