Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our day will be a semi-formal event, meaning dresses, suits and tailored jumpsuits are acceptable! Dresses are recommended to be floor length or tea-length. We will be outdoors for the ceremony and reception, so please bring a jacket or shawl if you tend to get chilly. For shoes, please keep in mind we will be outside. While the patio area for the reception is finished, there are beautiful areas of the grounds you may want to explore that are unpaved, so please be mindful of that.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask all guests to please be seated by 3:45pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to say “the more the merrier”, unfortunately we have a capacity limit at our venue that we must respect. We politely ask that you please refer to your formal invitation, as we have indicated the number of guests included in your party. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love the kiddos, but due to capacity limitations at the venue, we have decided to keep our event 21+. Please make the appropriate accommodations so that you may join us stress free for the evening!

Question

Is there parking at Gallaher Mansion?

Answer

Yes! Please note that there are actually 2 parking lots in the park. We are asking our guests to park in the lot closest to the Mansion as requested by the venue. Please enter the park through the second entrance that marked with a sign for Gallaher Mansion. Upon reaching the end of Kensett Avenue, please take a left onto Grumman Avenue and proceed approximately 1200ft, where the entrance will be on your right. See our full driving directions under the travel page.
