You will need to book a flight to Guatemala City (GUA) Once you land, you'll get straight on a shuttle to beautiful Antigua! Do not stay in Guatemala City, as it is considered unsafe for tourists. Skyscanner and Google flights are great search engines for booking flights. A hot tip is to use the skyscanner website to find a good deal on a flight, and then book that flight itinerary through the airline's website directly, like Air Canada, Avianca or Aeromexico. That way you don't have to deal with any 3rd party sites like flighthub, or MyTrip etc... This will save you some stress in case you need to make changes, or the flight is delayed, etc. You will be dealing with the airline directly.

You will need to book a shuttle from the airport to Antigua. Takes between 1-2hrs depending on traffic. We suggest you ask your accommodation airbnb or hotel to see if they offer shuttle services. If they don't, or it is too expensive, please book with Xocomil Tours, here: www.xocomiltours.com/p/contact-us.html Their rate is $57USD for 2 people, and it gets cheaper if you share with more passengers from the wedding. We will contact you directly if there are other guests you can shuttle with, depending on your arrival time at GUA airport. Please inform us once you have booked your shuttle with your accommodation or Xocomil Tours regardless, so we know you are covered. We do not advise on renting a car, as Antigua is a very walkable town. If you plan on traveling to other destinations while you are in Guatemala; buses, private drivers and taxis are the best option, which you can book from Antigua once you are there, at the various local travel companies, including Xocomil Tours.
