Facebook was our connection. Years ago, our daughters played on the same softball team. We knew of each other because of that. We never really talked to each other much. Just the friendly hello and how are you. Fast forward a few years later, Joe popped up on my feed as person I may know, so I requested him as a Facebook friend. He accepted that request and sent me a direct message. We started chatting with each other that very day. I was waiting at my daughter’s softball practice while we were catching up. Filling each other in on how our lives were going at the moment. Both of us going through divorce/separation. Such a pleasant and friendly conversation. We ended our conversation and went our separate ways. A few months later, I commented on a photo that Joe posted. He then immediately sent me a direct message. We again started talking and he eventually gave me his cellphone number. He then asked me on our first date. June 30, 2017. After that day, we’ve been inseparable. ❤️
