XelHá can best be described as a natural oasis. Float down the river through a mangrove forest out into the bay. Snorkel with fish, jump off seaside cliffs, sit by the beautiful blue waters with a pina colada or walk on the ocean floor! There is something for everyone here! You can enjoy great food, beautiful sights and as much adventure as you’d like in a day! We’ve been twice and loved it! Make sure you arrange transportation from the official park, it makes it oh-so easy, comfortable and convenient!
Xcaret
Enjoy the wealth of Mexico in the most emblematic park of Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya. Xcaret is the nature park in Playa del Carmen where you and your family will live Mexico in more than 50 natural and cultural attractions. Swim in underground rivers that come from the heart of the earth. Look closely at the inhabitants of the Aviary, the Coral Reef Aquarium, and the Butterfly Pavilion. Also, eat delicious Mexican and international dishes, discover Mayan ruins, and be thrilled by the incomparable Xcaret México Espectacular presentation. We’ve been here twice and it’s truly a FULL DAY theme park, almost so large you can’t see it all in a day. It’s wonderful if you’re not sure what you want to do, because you can get a slice of everything in one spot. Zip line over the jungle or swim through the most incredible cenotes by day or by firelight at night at Xplor! We LOVE Xplor and highly recommend it for the action-adventurers! Make sure you arrange transportation from the official park, it makes it oh-so easy, comfortable and convenient!
