It all started on a softball field at a Costco tournament—yes, really—where Danielle and Jorge first crossed paths 15 years ago. As Danielle’s abuelita would say, “echaron un ojo,” and over the years, there were fleeting moments and an undeniable connection that lingered quietly in the background. But it wasn’t until 2020—and the stillness of a global pandemic—that the stars aligned. In the middle of such uncertain times, their connection reignited into something real, grounded, and full of promise. From the start, Jorge was drawn to Danielle’s beauty, her free spirit, and her unstoppable lust for life. And Danielle? She couldn’t resist Jorge’s sweet smile, quiet strength, and the big, beautiful heart in his chest. Not to mention, he’s the most handsome man she’s ever seen. What began as a friendship—rooted in a shared love of sports, desire to travel, and the dream of having a big family—soon blossomed into a love that felt both destined and undeniable. Over the last five years, they’ve brought that love to life. Jorge brought his two incredible daughters, Juliana and Jacquelyn into the relationship, and Danielle stepped into that role with grace, compassion, and an open heart. Together, they added one more to the mix—their spirited daughter, Talia—and built a blended family full of warmth, laughter, and love. And on May 19, 2025, surrounded by the beauty of Kawela Bay in Oahu, Jorge did something he has never done before, he got down on one knee—and Danielle said yes, with the ocean breeze in her hair and tears in her eyes. This year, they will be tying the knot on November 6, 2025, in Carlsbad—a date chosen to honor Danielle’s beloved Abuelita Amparo’s birthday. While this celebration will be intimate and close to the heart, the big wedding is still ahead: in two years, on the very same day, they’ll gather again to celebrate love, family, and Abuelita’s 100th birthday with a celebration for the ages.
