Danielle and Jonathan met the first day of their senior year of high school in cooking class. Jonathan spent the whole year cooking for Danielle. They went on a few dates before officially becoming a couple on March 3, 2012.
Jonathan told Danielle that they were going on a hike but instead surprised her and took her skydiving. Jonathan jumped first and landed at a spot where the staff had already laid out a banner that read, "Will you marry me?" Danielle's friend was waiting there with the ring. Danielle could see the banner from the air and was surprised by Jonathan on one knee when she landed. She said yes! Awaiting the happy couple after this exciting experience was some of their family and closest friends.
While it is customary for the bride to take on the groom's last name, Jonathan and Danielle have decided to take a nontraditional route and take on the surname of Ledbetter. This name comes from Danielle's ancestors who settled in America during the early 1600s. So, as of April 14, 2019, they will be Mr. & Mrs. Ledbetter.
