Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Think... cowboy cocktail? Western chic? Hats and cowboy boots aren't required, but strongly encouraged! No boots, no problem! Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Expect pleasantly warm days with average highs around 80°F and cooler, comfortable evenings with lows around 60°F.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Our wedding will be held outdoors at JD’s family ranch! We recommend flat-soled shoes, wedges, or block heels to avoid sinking in the grass. The ranch is also the perfect place to whip out your boots!

Question

What's this I hear about a crawfish boil?

We will be hosting a crawfish boil the day after the wedding that you are welcome to attend! It will be a come-as-you-please casual event with other small bites and drinks, starring JD (Crawdaddy King) on the pot!

Question

How do I get to the ranch?

Answer

We will send out more directions and information on transportation soon.

Question

Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Goldthwaite is a small town about an hour and a half north of Austin. There are a handful of Airbnb homes in the area and the Redbud Inn. You also cruise through town of Lampasas and Lometa on the way which have more Airbnb options and Best Western Plus Lampasas Inn & Suites.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony - drinks and music will be waiting!

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the ranch and we’ll have signs letting you know where to park.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
