Welcome Event - The Floating Gardens of Xochimilco

Casual attire but there will be a photographer (for those who care)
Meet us at the Four Seasons lobby at 10:45 am to hop on a bus (transport provided) for the fun to begin. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE, the buses leave promptly at 11 am. There is no other convenient way to get to the event! For those not staying at the Four Seasons, it is located at: Av. Paseo de la Reforma 500, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 We will arrive at Xochimilco (a large canal system built by the Aztecs) around 12 pm and take a boat ride through the canals to Chinampa del Sol. For anyone that gets seasick/afraid of water, these are safe, slow-moving motor boats that hold 10-15 people. Upon arriving at Chinampa de Sol, we'll enjoy a tour of the chinampa (farm area) as well as a lunch prepared by the Arca Tierra chefs using ingredients from the farm. Beer and wine will be provided! After the event, shuttles will return everyone to the Four Seasons. If there is interest among any of the shuttles, several may stop at the Frida Khalo museum on the way back. Hosted by the Eansors

Attire: Black Tie Optional For Gentlemen: Tuxedos or dark suits with ties For Ladies: Formal, floor-length gowns, knee-length cocktail dresses, pant-suits, or dressy separates Hawaiian shirts for the Bud-man... - we love you no matter what you wear! TRANSPORTATION will be provided from TWO central meeting points: the Four Seasons Mexico City and the Gran Hotel. Please either plan on meeting at one of these locations at 4:30pm, shuttles depart starting at 4:45pm or if you prefer, you can uber directly to the venue. Please arrive at the wedding venue by 5:00pm. After the ceremony and dinner, shuttles will run every hour (starting at 9pm) returning to Four Seasons and Gran Hotel - similarly, you can also Uber back to wherever you are staying.
