Danielle Abruzzo
Bride
Danielle grew up in Wantagh & Seaford, NY. She is the middle child (and only daughter) to hard-working parents, Paul & Iris. Her older brother is Dave and her younger brother is Matt. Danielle works two jobs (sometimes three). She works part-time for the last almost thirteen years at Nassau Downs OTB (where she met Joe) and has been working full-time for Bethpage Federal Credit Union for almost five years. She is an animal lover and has a dream of one day opening an animal rescue. Danielle and Joe currently have two "furbabies." Chubbs is their first "son." He is quite known by everyone that's ever met Danielle or Joe. Their second furbaby is Khaleesi. She is a cat they adopted from the town shelter as a kitten and was named after Danielle's favorite character on Game of Thrones.
Joe Magliulo
Groom
Joe grew up in Freeport for the majority of his life. He’s the oldest of 2 to his parents Ralph and Trish. His younger sister and best friend is Jennifer. Joe has worked at OTB for 17 years, straight out of High School and has been Assistant Manager of the Tech Department for over 9 years.
Christina Ramirez
Matron of Honor
Christina is Danielle’s oldest and best friend. They have been best friends since Middle School. They share many memories together and have been there for each other through thick and thin! They have that kind of relationship where if they don’t talk for a couple of months, they always pick up where they left off.
Eddie Solorzano
Best Man
Joe and Eddie have been friends since the 11th grade and best friends since. At times when life got in the way they always remained close and were able to pick up where they left off. From the drunk “I love you mans”, to watching each other grow up, become the men they are and remain in each other’s lives is incredible. Joe also had the honor to be Eddie and his wife, Rocio’s officiant at their wedding in DR. To now watch both of their beautiful children, Nathaniel and Valentina grow up is also an honor.
Jenn Magliulo

Jenn is Joe’s beautiful and only sister. They have been each other’s best friend since birth. They’re very close and always have been. Danielle considers Jenn the sister and friend she never had growing up.
Dave Abruzzo

Dave is Danielle's older brother. Although they are six years apart, they've always been close. Joe is also close with Dave. They both share a love for music, movies, and of course we can't forget, the NY Mets! Dave now resides in Florida with his fiance, Taylor and they are expecting their first child in October!
Angela Ritsman
Bridesmaid
Danielle and Angela met at BFCU more than 4 years ago when Danielle first started her job there. They clicked instantly. They share the same opinions on almost everything (and everyone haha). They are best friends through and through but had they met earlier in life, they might’ve been in a lot of trouble!
Matt Abruzzo
Groomsman
Matt is Danielle's younger brother. Joe and Matt hit it off since Danielle and Joe first started dating. They golf and play softball together. Now they started bowling every week in the same league just different teams.
Michelle Piggott
Bridesmaid
Danielle met Michelle when Michelle transferred to Lynbrook BFCU in July of 2017. Michelle, Angela and Danielle all became instant friends. Michelle is definitely the wild one of the trio, in a good way of course!
Dennis Barrera
Groomsman
Dennis and Joe have been friends since high school. They grew up making skating videos and doing pranks/stunts like the guys from Jackass. Now, Dennis is happily married to his wife, Veronica, and they have 2 amazing boys Matthew, Joe’s Godson and their youngest Jayden.
Sherry Lazo
Bridesmaid
Joe has known Sherry and her husband Slim for many years. Danielle met Sherry when Joe and her first started dating in 2010. Joe played softball with Slim and all of the girlfriends and wives would hang out on the bleachers together every game. Danielle and Sherry have been friends since. The two couples like to order pizza and have game nights occasionally, and have even gone to AC together.
Richard "Slim" Lazo
Groomsman
Slim and Joe met through a mutual friend while playing softball over 10 years ago. They have been close friends ever since, just as if they grew up together from childhood. Their friendship developed a friendship between Danielle and Slim’s wife Sherry, as well.
David Larenas
Groomsman
David is Joe’s oldest friend. They’ve known each other for 20+ years. David moved to Florida when they were still in high school but they remained in touch. As they got older, they were able to see each more often. Joe had the honor of being David’s best man and officiant at his wedding last July!
