Q + A

Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2026 by using the QR code on your invitation or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.

Question

Where can I park upon arrival?

Answer

Parking will be available on the grass at nearby properties around the residence. Additional parking is available at the nearby boat launch (walkalble, but a little further away) and the church next to the property. Because space is limited, we recommend carpooling if you can!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If your invite specifies you're invited to the ceremony, that will begin at 4:30pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to mitigate disruptions. If it specifies you're invited to the cocktail hour/reception, plan to arrive around 5pm.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We’re registered at Amazon, Target, Williams Sonoma, and a few other stores. To see all our gift ideas in one place, please visit our Zola registry—each item links directly to the retailer. Please note: some items may also be available on other websites—possibly for a better deal! 😉

Question

When and Where is the Wedding?

Answer

The wedding will take place a backyard residence, on the water. The address is 9740 Cedar St. Bay Port, MI 48720. Details can also be found under the "Schedule" tab. PS. Bring a light jacket or cardigan, there might be a breeze!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP "Will NOT Attend." If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find that you will not make it please notify Danielle at 440-263-4944 or Joe at 440-465-8111.

Question

Answer

We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only occasion, unless otherwise specified on your invite. We hope you enjoy a night off and join us for a celebration full of love, laughter, and dancing!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP section of the website.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YES! Drinks are on us, hangover is on you. Let's party. With that being said, since it isn't a traditional venue, you can bring in outside alcohol. Feel free to bring a cooler of your drink of choice if you'd prefer! We will ask that you keep it in a designated area.

Question

Are rideshare services like Uber or Lyft available nearby?

Answer

No, Huron County does not have these services. However, we can provide a phone number to a driver in the area (that acts as Uber essentially because Huron County doesn't offer this) and he is donation based. We have also hired Thumb Area Transit Services that will be going to certain locations - contact Danielle or Joe for more details.

Question

Where can I find accommodation options for out-of-town guests?

Answer

Check the "Accommodations" Tab for more options. Or, reach out to Joe or Danielle in advance for specific questions.

Question

What type of location/venue is it?

Answer

It is your typical, old fashioned back yard wedding overlooking the beautiful Saginaw Bay. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all outdoors on grass. Tents, tables, and chairs will be staged as well. Be mindful of this when choosing shoes, and bring a light jacket.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage guests to wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. Florals, Pastels, Cocktail Garden Party/Backyard Chic Since it is on grass, plan your footwear accordingly! We also ask that you to try to avoid full on darker colors.
