Dec 2009 - Met the first time at GYC (Generations of Youth for Christ) in Louisville, KY. Pillow fights ensue. 2010 and 2011 - Saw each other occasionally only because Danielle and Paige became friends. Dec 2011 - Next GYC. Houston, TX. Went together with siblings and friends. Had a great time rehashing pillow fights, walking for an hour together looking for Taco Bell (we found it, in case you were wondering), and talking about fire, experiments, and travel, including mission trips. After GYC we went rock climbing together with friends in AR and played with fire, lighting up our hands as often as possible for the next few days. Thus, began the crush that Danielle had on Jeffrey. It was not too long after that when Jeffrey realized that he had a returning crush. But alas, it was not meant to be at that time. May 2012 - Danielle left for canvassing and college in other states. She never had the courage to tell him that she liked him, and by the time he figured out what he thought of her, she was gone. 2012 and 2013 - Didn’t see each other and rarely kept in touch. Jeffrey had been thinking about her for two years, so he decided to meet her at GYC Orlando and confess. He confessed, but once again, alas, it didn’t work out. Short description: sadness, frustration, more sadness and frustration. We’ll leave it at that. That was the last time we saw each other. For five years! With contact possibly less than five times in those five years. Yeah, kinda depressing.

Oct 2018 - Danielle comes back from traveling the world and, while shopping with her parents, happens to run into Jeffrey’s mom in their discount food store. His mom wastes no time in asking her if she’s married. When the answer is no, she almost immediately mentions Jeffrey and asks if she would like to see him. Danielle’s heart beats a little faster. “Sure,” she says. Mom alerts Jeffrey and he comes over ASAP x 5. We are reunited. For 10 minutes. We decide to meet up sometime soon and catch up. Nov 9, 2018 - We meet over pizza. And talk for 11 hours straight. Literally. We clear EVERYTHING, past and present between us. We now know where the other stands on life and relationships. Nov 16, 2018 - We meet again and talk for 9 hours. By the end, we’re together. As in dating. FINALLY!! A lot of people were waiting for that to happen...including you, the reader. Jan 19, 2019 - Jeffrey proposes. She says yes, of course :) Next couple weeks - Wedding is planned. Feb - May 5, 2019 - Danielle goes back to India and is currently still there. Jeffrey is studying. They decide that long distance sucks. Never again. Hopefully. Future Plans (Some for sure, like the wedding, duh. And some potential.) May 19, 2019 - Wedding then Honeymoon June 2019 - Move to Arizona for Jeffrey’s internship. Will be there until the end of August. September 2019 - move back to KY October/November 2019 - head to India together for 4 - 6 months. Work on project. March/April 2020- head back to the US May 2020 and Onward - Jeffrey will start working on his two year contract. Who knows where we’ll be. The world is ours to discover and make a difference in =)
