We knew each other in high school. We first knew of each other in 2006 when we worked at Magnolia Pizza Hut together. Danielle did not care too much for Jeffrey because he was quiet, secluded, and didn't smile much. We only worked together there for 2-3 weeks until Danielle quit and ventured on to different jobs. Jeffrey had a party in 2008 where Danielle and her friends attended. Danielle and Jeffrey exchanged numbers and began texting about sports, mainly football (and how bad the redskins suck!). This sports friendship then grew into something more. In December of 2008, Jeffrey asked Danielle to be his girlfriend and the rest is history! There is a lot of history but through thick and thin, Jeffrey and Danielle have made it through many happy, sad, stressful, and exciting times since then. There were many obstacles in our way but through it all, our love stood the test of time.

Danielle was down the shore vacationing with her family. Jeffrey was coming down to spend a night or two since he was working all week. We were all planning on going out when the boys got down but plans changed after a long, hot day on the beach. We decided we were going to stay in the house and play games. Jeffrey got there and everyone was just enjoying each other, talking, and singing to the music around the kitchen island. Danielle turned around at one point and Jeffrey was on his knee! She was so surprised and so was everyone else! Jeffrey made a short, sweet speech and asked Danielle to marry him. She said Yes! (of course!) and the night turned into a great celebration. The engagement was set up and only Danielle's brother-in-laws knew what was going on! It was a wonderful surprise and celebration for all!
